Two names with a long history.
We deliberately choose brands that have proven themselves for over a century — in craftsmanship, in precision, and in value for money.
Seiko
Founded 1881 · Tokyo
The 21-year-old Kintaro Hattori opens a small shop in Tokyo repairing and selling clocks and watches. His philosophy: always stay one step ahead.
After a devastating earthquake he promises his customers recovery, and soon after launches the first watch under the Seiko name.
As an absolute highlight, Seiko introduces the world's first quartz watch — changing the watch world forever.
Seiko is still one of the few brands that develops its movements entirely in-house, from simple quartz to refined mechanical calibres.
Tissot
Founded 1853 · Le Locle
Father and son Charles-Félicien and Charles-Émile Tissot found the brand in Le Locle, Switzerland. Their goal: to make Swiss precision accessible to everyone.
Tissot soon looks beyond borders, with successful trade in Russia, America and Latin America.
Tissot leads with innovation, including one of the first watches with two time zones and the world's first anti-magnetic watch.
Since joining the Swatch Group, Tissot remains known for that unique blend of Swiss craftsmanship and sharp value for money.
